Start of an ode to beer!

Toccalmatto was born in October 2008 in Fidenza and with the first 550 litres the culmination of a dream of Bruno Carilli and three friends has come true. It’s a dream that comes from a career in the food industry, a deep passion for live beer, for the great classics, and a love for authentic flavors and real products.

New ways…

In 2015, the new plant, eight times larger, was inaugurated with a new team and new communications.In the summer of 2017, Toccalmatto and Caulier / Brasserie 28 joined forces and today form a unique, rapidly growing commercial cooperation with an active production unit and important international development projects. Caulier Sugar Free is a well-known Belgian brand born in 2008 and known for marketing low-carb, gluten-free and organic craft beers.

Being crazy is in the name.

Birra Toccalmatto has been highly regarded since its beginnings for its beers full of character. The brewery with many faces, offering both traditional styles and innovative beers. Their product range is rich in Belgian and American traditions, exotic and extreme hops, yeast and fermentation experiments. A journey through new flavours and bouquets with fruits, spices and barrel ageing.
